You can mod Yokoka into Rabbit & Steel as the Heavyblade class, no installations required, just downloading and replacing a spritesheet!

Short preview video of some gameplay as Yokoka in this tweet.

Instructions:
• Right-click on Rabbit & Steel in your Steam Library and select Manage > Browse Local Files.
• Open the Animations folder.
• Choose a Heavyblade Rabbit palette you would like to replace with Yokoka (filename will be "hblade_rabbit_000x.png"). Palettes for reference are below:

• Rename that Heavyblade Rabbit palette file (e.g. add an "a" at the end of the name; you can revert the mod by undoing this name change later).
Download the Yokoka spritesheet (this link and the spritesheet at the top of the post are the same file).
• Rename the Yokoka spritesheet to the original filename of the Heavyblade Rabbit palette you would like the replace (e.g. "hblade_rabbit_0001.png").
• Place the Yokoka spritesheet into the Animations folder.
• Start a new run (Rabbit & Steel can be open during all of this) and select the replaced Heavyblade Rabbit palette to play as Yokoka!

🛈 Please note that palettes 0006 and 0007 are locked by default. These can be unlocked through gameplay or cheating :3c
🛈 Please note that if you play as Yokoka while playing multiplayer, other players will instead see a regular Heavyblade Rabbit (unless they have also modded the same palette). This will not affect gameplay at all.

I think it's fun! It's like a bullet hell game like Touhou, but rather than the enemies using crazy bullet patterns, they use a lot of FF14 style "raid mechanics". And rather than just shooting at the enemy you pick a class which each has a few different attacks, and then as you progress there are roguelike elements in terms of the powerups you find and can buy.

The roguelike aspect means you don't really keep much between runs (aside from story progress; going through the full story requires clearing it a bunch of times rather than just playing through and beating the final boss). And a full successful run might take from 20-40 minutes.

You can play with up to 4 players and the game throws a bunch of different mechanics at you in multiplayer which makes it a different experience.

I can stream it sometime if you ever wanna watch and listen to get a feel for how it plays!
